Kings Arms, North Walsham.
ELECTRIC!
Nice to hear WAYNE again!
Everything came together here - like a ' SWISS WATCH'. Great sound - wonderful Mandolin. Clive's BASS was the best I've heard - great Guthrie and Springsteen. 'Riders in the Sky really got the audience tapping their feet. You have made some new fans . And I particularly liked that touch where you brought in the GIRLS IN PINK COWBOY HATS
( and MINI-SKIRTS HO HO HO! )That may give someone ideas about dressing up for Erpingham .
WELL DONE DAWGS!

Never did see the Bass break down before - Well Done Clive - you coped with that disaster like the seasoned trouper you are. And ' CHEERS' for Good Old Wayne who produced his Skull and Crossbones to keep the show going. Nice to have our Drummer and Fiddle Player on board again - great sound - and y'all were singing so well . Thanks Dawgs.

Thanks to every one in the band for supporting my beer January 8th at Heydon beer festival on Sunday. The landlord "H" of The Earl Arms has ordered more beer!

Thanks to everyone in the band over the last couple of weeks or so, for pulling out all the stops as my voice was rendered no-existent due to a virus which I just coudn't shake. Special thanks to Clive who took on running the show admirably. Also to Ron Sayer who helped out at very short notice and added a whole new dimension to the band with som wonderful guitar playing and some new songs. Thanks also to Matt for dragging his acoustic out to Heydon on Sunday and covering for Steve. Rock on!!!!!!!!

April 10th, 2009.
Missing Clive and Jonny and Darryl
but it really came alive - and what a Replacement Guitar Player
( Ron Sayer ) Brilliant. The closing minutes were the best I've heard for a long time.

Ingleside, Mundesley. April 2009.
This was a first time for me at Ingleside. What a super venue - and what a great audience - they surely did appreciate every 'cotton-picking minute' and they were up for more at the end .
Didn't Roger do well on the drums and the old fiddle was so sweet - great to see Jez and Clive and Steve , Oh yes and that guy in the bowler hat -he were pretty good too. Thank you Dawgs - see y'all at Salhouse.

ERPINGHAM ( March 2009 )
Didn't we all have so much fun.
My Grandson was' is amazed - he sees Grandpa in a diiferent light .
He particularly loved Roger and the washboard ; and the others are 'Pretty Good ' . Oh yes and he is in love with Wayne's Missus- " who is that Pretty Girl ? Grandpa - now I know why you like the Ugly Dogs. Well I missed JEZ - but what a treat for me when you did 'SUMMERTIME'. Ceiling was a bit low : stopped Wayne 'reaching for the sky and the Fiddle Bow scraping the paint . By God- but it came together wonderful. And such a GOOD AUDIENCE. Looking forward to the next time. Thank you DAWGS!

ALDBOROUGH VILLAGE HALL 21/2/09
What a cracking good night - you guys were electric - and such a good audience . I liked the new numbers and the old ones like 'Hard Travellin'. The fiddle and the drums and the washboard and the bass and the guitars, banjo, harmonicas, tambourine - it just don't come any better.
THANK YOU WAYNE AND ALL YOU UGLY
DOGS.

Erpingham January 2009.
Well guys you all played and sang so well . Missed the fiddle - but I know you can't have everything !
Why?
Nice venue - but no B>>>>> Audience. Funny Old World. Bryan from Aylsham said there should be hundreds here to listen to this high quality entertainment.
Loved your 'Woodie Guthrie'.
It'll be even better at Colchester - wish I could be there. Thanks for a great start to the year Lads.
