Great surprise on Sat 3rd oct to find the ugly dogs playing at my party!! wow what a great sound loads of comments saying what a cracking night. Not sure if it was the bottle of Jack Daniels i drank or the head banging to "ACE OF SPADES" that had given me the biggest hangover on Sunday morning.

MASSIVE THANKS

EAST RUSTON, Nr. Stalham. 18/9/09.
Just when I thought " It cannot get any better " you 'UGLY DAWGS'pull off the best show I've seen in NOrfolk. Both individually and collectively you delivered an Electic, Sparkling performance. Great to have our Jonny back ' Cutting through ' with his wonderful fiddle. Missed the Washboard and Roger ; get well soon Roger. Darryl always does the business on Drums - but last night he was 'Razor-Sharp.'
LOved all the vocals and Wayne nearly hit the roof . My girls think "Y'all should be on Telly'.
We have to learn anothe Woodie Guthrie for Clive : " So Long it's bin good to Know ya'.
Looking forward to Salhouse.

Ingleside
6/9/09.
This a great venue for the UGly Dogs : such a 'Penetrating, Solid Sound'.
But what a performance; Roger's Washboard. Darryl 's Drumming and UKE came across as something special. Don't know how Jez does it - yes he really is a 'One Man Band'. Wonderful vocals from Clive and Steve " Woodie Guthrie Lives On ", not to forget their brilliant delivery on Bass and Rhythm Guitar.
Oh Yes ! Wayne - well he just turned in one of his best vocals and Guitar. Nobody does it better Wayne.
And not to forget your audience- reduced in numbers but we all loved the music you guys delivered . Nice to see Paul there. Looking forward to the next time .
Missed the Mandolin.
And the little boy ! I love children - but I couldn't possibly eat a whole one .

Salhouse 7/8/09.
The 'Magnificent FIve'
Good old Roger back on the drums
and the Washboard. Steve in very good voice and ' Good Guitar' I often think Rhythm Guitar is under-appreciated but this is ' The Man'. Jez and Clive and Wayne in sparkling form. Happy Birthday Clive! And what a treat it was to see our friends from Norwich to celebrate Paul's bithday. Not a big audience but you did us proud.

Sheringham Street Carnival.
August 4th, 2009.
What a night it was ; it really was! For once I didn't miss the fiddle - that's down to Jez making his 'HARP ' sing just like a fiddle. And the banjo was new and different. Wayne captured the old essence of Lonnie Donegan, Clive got into Woodie Guthrie.
Y'all harmonised just wonderful; great back-up from Steve , Roger and Darryl. You can easy measure how good you were : the crowd stood there in the rain, clapping and singing along - and what about them kids dancing - they should be on the stage!
" TOM T. HALL back to reality; it's Faster horses, Younger Women,
Older Whisky , More Money ".
Thank for a great night . See Y'all at Salhouse.
